Cortega, or C as Earl calls him, is a sweetheart. Cortega has three grand offsprings: GP Le Club Fur DeFive, Fo, Fum and GC Le Club Fur Purr-So-Cute and CH, GP Le Club Fur To Sir With Love.
At the Amarillo, TX, show Mar. 27-28, Cortega received 4th Best Kitten from Ann Pevey in her All-Breed Ring, a 9th Best Kitten in Kitty Angell's All-Breed ring, a 7th Best Kitten in Wayne Trevathan's All-Breed Ring and a 4th Best Kitten in Pam Moser's Specialty ring.
In Muskogee, OK, Apr. 3 Cortega was named 9th Best Kitten in JoAnn Cummings All-Breed ring.
At Lakes Country Cat Fanciers, Inc., show in Springfield, MO, Cortega placed 4th in both Lois Jensen and Margot Mellies' All-Breed kitten finals and he nabbed 6th Best Kitten in Carolyn Owen's All-Breed ring.
In St. Louis at Queeny Park May 8-9, Cortega earned Best of Breed in all six rounds. He earned a 4th in Brian Pearson's AB kitten final, a 7th AB Kitten from Wain Harding and a 9th from Vickie Nye in her AB kitten final.
At Springdale, AR, May 22-23, Cortega again earned Best of Breed in all six rounds. He also received 3rd Best AB kitten from Brian Pearson, 7th Best AB Kitten from Jimmy Thompson, 2nd Best LH kitten from Darrell Newkirk and 3rd Best LH kitten from Debbie Ritter.
At Tulsa June 5-6, his first adult show, Cortega received Best of Color in all six rings and earned his champion ribbons. In Columbus, OH, July 3-4, Cortega was named 2nd Best Cat and Best LH Champion by Lois Jensen in her Specialty ring.
